It’s 4 a.m. I’m in bed eating beignets and writing about the Witches’ Hammer in correlation with Macbeth. It feels real good, guys.
Also, powdered sugar everywhere.
I haven’t not done this in a long time. Despite that double-negative sentence sounding weird, what I’m speaking of is my infatuation with accessorizing my lamps. By accessorizing, I mean the need to repaint them, hot glue flowers on them, and use them as a necklace holders, etc.
Honestly, if you look at a lamp, it has a pretty little hour glass figure and a glowing neck, why not accentuate it? Give the girl a sparkle!
Also, I just personified a lamp.
I don’t think i’ve even flirted with this thought since I was eight, but Old Navy has gotten kinda neat again, if it ever truly was. Let’s begin with their summer printed shorts and ankle pants. These bottoms are adorn with embroidered anchors and seahorses, which are pretty damn precious. The moment I saw these, my first thought was “Oh mon dieu, this is just a more affordable version of Vineyard Vines!” And guys, it totally is. I actually purchased the coral shorts with aqua anchors and the ankle pants in “Goodnight Nora” print. The pants are pretty amazing in the way they are extremely comfortable and stretchy, yet keep their shape throughout the day, in addition to being really cute.
